Circuito Grande
Spectacular tour to appreciate the transition between the steppe and the Precordillera through rocky valleys, rivers and lakes showing an interesting diversity in flora, and fauna.
Description
Driving northwards along National route 237, bordering the Limay, river we arrive to the Anfiteatro, a natural rock formation similar to a great Roman circus, then through Valle Encantado (Enchanted Valley), where a series of singular rock formations will be appreciated. It continues following the course of rivers Cuyin Manzano and Minero and, through native coihue forest, the road skirts lake Traful. We reach the Traful Scenic Viewpoint, a 70 meter cliff above the lake and then Villa Traful, famous for its fishing and camping sites. On our way back, we take back for a while the Seven Lakes Drive towards Villa La Angostura, a charming alpine-style village, and finally National Route 237 that leads back to Bariloche.
